As a Canvass Manager, you will be responsible for running point on canvassing projects throughout New York City. You will manage and train a team of canvassers to disseminate literature and talk to community members through canvassing door to door and in high traffic areas. This is a wonderful opportunity for politically engaged New Yorkers to begin working professionally in our city’s politics and shaping its future.

Support with the hiring, training, scheduling, and management of canvassers.
Offering consistent coaching to canvassers during the shift and modeling best practices
Track daily schedules, payroll and submission of weekly timesheets
Assist and facilitate canvasser training and administrative work
Manage collection and quality control of all data
Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be safe and successful
Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends
Strong communications skills and the ability to work independently
Prior canvassing or customer service experience, ideally 1+ years
Experience leading diverse teams
Passion for community engagement
Spanish fluency is a big plus
